When I found myself suddenly facing a challenging inheritance matter with complex legal questions, involving beloved family members, I found that I was reluctant to engage a traditional probate litigation attorney if an alternate path to a mutually satisfactory solution was possible.

Jeff had previously done an outstanding job representing me as a traditional lawyer in another matter, and I was delighted to find that he and Ashleigh have now joined forces to offer Two-Coach mediation. Happily I reached out to them and quickly discovered that a flexible alternative dispute resolution was indeed possible; one in which my values were never overlooked and my concerns were always addressed.

Gratefully my concerns were in fact heard and Jeff and Ashleigh were extremely helpful in further clarifying them. Jeff and Ashleigh also saved me time and money by using their considerable skills to induce voluntary transparency and cooperation from the other interested parties without the need to go to court.

Thank you Jeff and Ashleigh for providing your invaluable advice and support throughout a sensitive and complex process.

Working with Jeff and Ashleigh made a very difficult time feel much more manageable. Their friendly and upbeat approach created a safe and respectful space for conversations that would have otherwise been too hard to have — or too emotionally charged to be productive. They were consistently supportive, responsive, and always helpful, keeping the process moving forward while holding both sides accountable.

Jeff and Ashleigh brought a high level of knowledge and professionalism that gave me real confidence in the process. They explained everything clearly and without jargon, which helped me feel informed and in control at every step. They took the time to understand my unique situation and tailored their guidance accordingly, helping me work toward a fair and practical agreement.

Their non-judgmental and understanding nature, along with their flexibility around scheduling, made a big difference — and beyond the practical side, I felt genuinely supported throughout, not just legally but emotionally too. I can’t thank them enough for making a tough situation that bit easier.

First, I want to thank Ashleigh for her thoughtful comments and helping me reframe and "word" things in a positive way for our kids. Jeff, as much as we seem to contend and wrangle in our efforts, I always heed your advice and expertise. You are my guru. It's that simple.

This is just a note of my gratitude. You really helped me today. Sometimes just talking, fleshing it out and getting advice from people who "get it" (as opposed to friends who are one sided and don't have experience with this), is so immensely helpful.

Again, thanks for a good lesson. Ashleigh, you are a wonderful addition - Jeff (and I) are lucky to have you.

I had the privilege of crossing paths with Dr. Ashleigh Louis during my time at Cal State Fullerton. Initially drawn by her dynamic teaching style in Personality Psychology, I eagerly stepped into the role of her teaching assistant for her Industrial/Organizational Psychology class. Dr. Louis exudes an unparalleled passion and expertise in psychology, enriching my understanding and skill set under her guidance.

Her dedication to the field, particularly in marriage and family therapy, is both inspiring and commendable. Dr. Louis's commitment to continuous learning, teaching, and research is evident in every interaction and endeavor. Her impact extends beyond academia, reaching into the heart of the mental health community.

Encountering Dr. Louis is like stumbling upon a rare gem; her warmth, charisma, and depth of knowledge leave an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her. She generously shares her time and wisdom, embodying the epitome of kindness and accomplishment.

As she embarks on her new venture, I have no doubt that Dr. Louis will flourish. Her unwavering determination and boundless capabilities ensure that success is not merely an aspiration but an inevitable outcome. I eagerly anticipate witnessing the growth and triumphs of her business, knowing that she is destined for greatness.

In the face of challenges and uncertainties, Dr. Louis remains a beacon of resilience and excellence. She exemplifies the very essence of greatness, deserving of every recognition and opportunity that comes her way. Dr. Louis is not just exceptional; she is the epitome of excellence.

From the first phone call, Quantum made me feel comfortable. We put together a couple of different game plans depending on which way things went. We were able to settle outside of the court system in a 4-way agreement meeting. I retained most of what I wanted out of the divorce and came to a fair parenting agreement and shared custody. I cannot stress enough how much Quantum had helped me on a personal level keeping myself together and getting through the divorce. I highly recommend them.

When I think about Jeff before Quantum, I don’t think about brutal litigation. There weren’t witnesses crumpling under cross-exam, leveraged opponents hemorrhaging confessions and concessions. And knowing what I know now, that’s not what I needed. I needed someone who could help me see, help me think, and help me progress, at a time when I was struggling to do those things. I needed Jeff and he was there when I needed him most. I’d recommend him to anyone who needs help.

As a mother in a newly blended family, my husband and I sought guidance on issues pertaining to our estate and the security of our children. As a clinician, Jeff and I have shared dozens of cases relative to my role as a family therapist, parent coach, and Parent Coordinator with high-conflict divorcing families. Quantum made navigating the professional and the personal relationship comfortable and seamless. Their professionalism and boundaries are the perfect complement to their inclination toward common sense approaches to maintaining relationships, mediating interests, and finding peace in the most difficult of situations. I have always appreciated their desire to coach parents through their impasse using a combination of education and motivational interviewing. Quantum’s skill set and demeanor make them an excellent option for families looking to stay out of the courtroom.

Jeff is a kind and caring person. I have known Jeff for over 10 years and he helped me on several legal matters ranging from employment to family law. Jeff was not your prototypical lawyer and always came at challenges from a position of trying to find a resolution rather than provoke and continue. With time, I learned to trust Jeff completely as I know he always had my best interest at heart and always wanted to do the right thing. Jeff’s approach to legal matters will certainly help him in his next endeavor as he always ultimately wanted to and did help people. I would list myself as one of those lucky enough to have had Jeff helping me through several difficult situations. Always a calm and reasonable person who brings order to what is sometimes mayhem in people's lives.

Through my process, Quantum ADR understood my feelings about moving forward with my divorce despite being advised by a forensic accountant that there was much more that I would probably be entitled to if I embarked through a lengthy court process (my ex was unwilling to produce documents so I would have to begin court proceedings to get what I needed).  I wanted to move on with my life and begin living a happy life and not go through a lengthy court process which kept me attached to my ex any longer.  That was most important to me.

quote icon

I recently attended Quantum ADR’s “The Me in Mediation” workshop – it was insightful, thought-provoking, and I wholeheartedly recommend their approach to anyone interested in being part of a solution to the problems they’re facing. As a family law litigator and mediator myself, I (try to) navigate conflict every day. Ashleigh & Jeff’s approach focuses on aligning decisions with personal values which can lead to more thoughtful, sustainable resolutions – whether in professional or personal relationships. I have been a family law attorney for approximately 15 years, but I walked away from this workshop with a deeper understanding of how to navigate conflict with clarity and confidence than I had before. Their approach to mediation and conflict resolution is thoughtful, thorough, and deeply rooted in both their legal expertise (of which I am quite familiar) and an understanding of people and human relationships. Ashleigh & Jeff each bring their own unique training and experiences to the table in a unified and collaborative approach, and I highly recommend Quantum ADR to anyone looking to resolve disputes while making more intentional, value-driven choices.

My husband left abruptly in 2020 and sent me an email to inform me he was dissolving our marriage and we finalized our divorce the following year. Since then, he established a series of legal obligations that cloud life both emotionally as well as financially. I was heartbroken, stunned, uninformed, and unable to compete with his financial advantages. Navigating this loss was overwhelming and paralyzing, as by design, so I became desperate for help and guidance both emotionally and legally which in my case, were one in the same.

A year ago, I met with Jeff and Ashleigh and things began to make sense. I immediately felt connected to them as they understood, listened and provided calming consideration to educate me in a positive, progressive way were I was able to feel safe again. Their ability to empathize is backed by years of experience that comforted my confusion leading to refreshingly realistic explanations for a clear path forward.

I was blindsided by my divorce as many, many are and felt as though I was trying to patch the leak in a dam with tissues. My lawyers are wonderful, but what Ashleigh and Jeff established with their specific approach caters to the heart and humanity of this process. They gifted me a sense of security through their knowledge and understanding. I am forever grateful to both of them for healing my heart and helping me to manage the process constructively. I truly, truly care for them as people and I have a deep respect for their unique approach...I do not know what I would do without their support and coaching.
